Beautiful Holiday
We instantly fell in love with the house, seated on the tuscan hills away from all city trouble. You share the huge pool with the other guesthouse next to yours and there is enough space for everyone. The kitchen and main living room are upstairs while the bedrooms and baths are downstairs which really makes them quite cool at night. All cities (Lucca, Pisa, Florence) are really easy to reach with the car and we also had a great beach day (about a 45min drive). Thank you Susan for everything, it was a pleasure and we will make sure to come back someday!

Couldn't have been better
We thank our lucky stars that we decided to stay at Podere Consani. We hoped that it would be quietly rural, pleasant and scenic, and it was all these things but so much more. Our hostess, Suzy, was immensely kind and helpful. The estate is large, including a big swimming pool, the main house and two smaller houses that serve as the guest cottages. We were in the smaller one and it was more than amply big, lovely, comfortable and filled with the kitchen utensils and other items we needed to make for an easy stay. We could have stayed by the pool, swimming and drinking in the beauty, but fortunately Suzy, gave us wonderful advice about day trips which made our stay more interesting. We will remember this welcoming and beautiful place and have pictures in our minds of eating out on the porch, or viewing the lights of Lucca from the vinyard. Thank you, Suzy and family.

Idyllisches Abseits
Ein Kleinod, wie wir es gesucht haben: ein hübsches Häuschen auf sehr gepflegtem Anwesen mit schönem Pool. Wer Ruhe sucht und auch nicht auf Kurztrips in die Umgebung verzichten möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Und Susan ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin!

Everything we hoped for!
The size and quality of the internal and external spaces at this property were ideal for a relaxing holiday, from the spacious and well-appointed living areas to the areas around the swimming pool. The immediate surroundings are beautiful, in the Tuscan hills with loads of fruit trees, olive groves and vineyards in all directions. Within 30 minutes you can be in the majestic Apuan Alps to the north, the coast to the west or lovely Lucca, a short 15 - 20 minute drive away. Susan was super friendly and provided a wealth of information throughout the booking process, during our stay and through to our departure. We will do everything we can to make a return trip to this property!
